I can understand why that would ick people out, but is it enough to lambast the seme over that? Especially when you think of the context (heartfelt confessions etc), it's understood that that wouldn't be at the forefront of the character's thoughts. Besides, uke was just as down to get the deed done regardless of knowing what happened in that room beforehand.
