I mean it seems common that bl confessions in manga at some point include the standard "you are my special someone." but I've always wondered wtf does that mean? Because we never say that type of thing except cheesy love songs and chick flicks.

Lol I love how proud of myself I am for guessing what happened in this chapter...that Bakadai is such a cowardly, complacent and selfish guy. Iwata looks like a genuine person that would treat Haru better. However THIS IS YAOI and of course an MC choosing the sweet guy won't happen in an angst-driven plot! I personally think Soudai should just go die but it's also satisfying in a typical bl way to see the person Haru longs for get motivated by jealousy.
