yes that's honestly the best way to go about it! Also don't worry about the SFX for now they're literally so hard to clean it's just not worth it! And I assume most people reading this have already read a lot of the same kind of thing and already know what it would be lmao
THIS is how you should properly clean and translate even if you're doing it with an app. Not just putting in exactly what the app says! You have to tweak it a bit if it doesn't make sense which so many newbie translators just don't do
