I understand what you mean but I think the fact that she’s still a high schooler plays a huge part and also how we, the readers, view it in a logical way and see them as characters, I side with you too cause like she’s unnecessary, but we can think like that cause we view them as characters but if we viewed them as humans who we grew up with for years it might be a bit harder, so that’s why I’m a bit more forgiving with our MC but I still want Asahi gone
I mean I get you but it’s just like?? The fl could’ve been better if she wasn’t naive like this in a way and was portrayed a bit more realistic if asahi was indeed a real person because I know for sure if this was real life asahi would be considered annoying or fake
Asahi is annoying I don’t even think she’s naive or innocent like home girl needs a reality check and then some counselling cause idk ... everything about her throws me off and she very selfish. Like she is annoying and fake whether it’s in the manga or real life that’s why I want her gone. She doesn’t even bother to listen and trust her “best friend” and I’m even questioning if she’s under some spell or if she’s doing everything intentionally cause
Exactly, that’s why I wish the FL just stopped worrying about asahi at this point. But she doesn’t and that’s what I don’t understand. Despite everything she’s gone through and witnessed, she still worries about asahi. I can’t follow the story anymore since I don’t really like the FL at this point but that’s just me
I dont know how you could view that as naive. Although Asahi is hella annoying and really dumb, they still came from the same world, and no matter how annoying Asahi's been, it'd probably make less sense if she just stands by the sidelines as she watches someone she's known for years being manipulated and most probably "gotten rid of" after they're done using her. If she didnt manage to convince Asahi the first time, then I guess she's a lost cause, but of course FL would at least try, right? I dont understand how you could see that as naive
