So Mil is just supposed to let his family die? Leaving him with his brother who killed his mother and uncle and he has to watch the women he loves with Linden? He wouldn't get the girl either way but he wouldn't have anything but guilt for not protecting his family.
His mom and uncle killed an innocent mother and daughter and if he wants to defend them then whatever but its not ok. So yeah honestly if my mom killed a innocent child and a mom she would have to suffer the consequences of her actions becuase she knew exactly what she was doing. And weather he gets the girl or not it doesn't matter he can always find someone else and it's her choice who she wants to end up with. You're putting it like its easy for Linden after what Mil's mom and uncle did to him. But tbh everyone has a different opinion so I respect yours.
Imagine this, you fell in love with someone and you spent years trying to better yourself and trying to get this person's attention. Also you are in a high position and have been told your entire life you'll marry this person. But suddenly, out of the blue he brings another (random) woman with no title, a commoner who never did jack shit to suddenly receive the love and attention of the person you've loved your whole life and spent years trying to get him to love you back. And he even marries you instead of giving you a clean rejection, has a child with you, but doesn't give your child attention but instead loves this new lower class girl and already has two kids won't her. I don't know about you but I would be pretty fucking pissed. Mil's mother became obsessed and mentally ill due to all the stress. ALSO, Mil's mother didn't kill anyone, Lindel's mother commited suicide.
Ok I see your point. But they involved a little girl into the mess too. If anything it's the Kings fault all this mess happened. Who did all this? The King. So why didn't they just target him? I get that she suffered too but its not ok to make others suffer over something that someone else did. If anything the King should've suffered through what he did not the girl or the mom.
Also, I don't wish for the mom to die. Hopefully Elise can do something. I agree that she suffered and shouldn't be killed maybe if they just live in another country.
