they’re completely different. sangwoo wasn’t homophobic because of his mom. sangwoo was raped by his mother, saw yoonbum who looked like his mom and basically did to him what he couldn’t do to her.

When he was in the basement I think he was chained down, and his mother forced herself onto him which was rape and then placed the knife into his hands and killed herself. A lot of people didn’t recognize it since she’s a girl but I haven’t read ks in a while so I’m not sure if that’s really how it went down.
