I have the same feeling, but not to her entire work, only to these "Society Weddings" series. Those "Columbia Four" dramas seems so dull like drowning in a cup of water.
Kind of like going to a supposedly fine restaurant and being served bad chardonnay out of a cardboard box.
the story so bland its like colonizing Asia for spices but ending up using only salt to season your food
"Oh God! Here come those damned Europeans again. Quick, hide the turmeric and cardamom."
Turmeric is hit or miss for me.
I know someone who likes to put it in their pasta and I'm like ...ughhhjj!
Can't make a good curry without it, at least for Indian curry.
I like it in chicken casserole
But for some reason nearly all the harlequin stories attached to this specific artist tend to be very boring and dull.
I don't know if its due to the bad plot or the artist's drawing style that make all the characters look lifeless and expressionless.
