am i the only one who would prefer pauliana not get with the prince?? like i love the ship and i wont be mad once they DO get together, but pauliana is just such a complicated character. to have her be as gay-coded as she is (literally saying she wants a wife!!!!), it’s a bit depressing to have her confined in a relationship with a man that she doesn’t have any interest for. just my opinion though!! i’ll be happy with whichever way the story goes :)

As far as ive spoiled myself with comments, it seems like the character will get more development. Right know they look more like good pals, the king and pau, instead of a couple.

I prefer them as friends as well. I like that wholesome chubby doctor with silver hair, sir Pauliana seems to like him as well ^^ that'd make me really happy; Pauliana in a happy relationship with a man who treats her right, without pressure over not fitting the norms, and being unable to "do her duties" of bearing a royal heir. Although there's probably no way it won't happen, I hope his highness doesn't confess to Paul, so that they can remain close and wholesome friends.

I mean, it seemed like she loved the concept of her having a wife and herself being a knight who comes home to a warm wife. And there’s no reason she shouldn’t be into guys actually

Problem is the way they have made pauliana behave, and the importance the author gives to love in her point of view... i, for example, dont see her with anybody, but its because she looks fine by herself, her job and stuff, but the author want to change that, at least thats what the development of the story shows.
