I remember reading "Giniro no Genders" and "Back Street Girls" (both gender bender lol) and thinking the same thing.
I mean I don't blame them. If I were a mangaka, I would vastly prefer posing dolls to redrawing each pose every panel (even if it looks worse tbh).

But why does the art look cgi??? Is it just me? It’s great just crazy how it looks cgi without the color
