I think that hyunee like hyunnwoo cause he thought that he was watching him. And ended up doing what hyunnwoo was. It hard to explain but I think he was disappointed to find out that hyunnwoo actually like lee Chanee and not him. I also hope this make since. And I agree about UE and the comparison to this.
since i saw lots of people compared this manhwa with unripened expression, here's my thoughts :
i actually fine whether hyunwoo will end up with chanee or with hyunee. either way is fine. but i can't really compared this manhwa with unripened expression bcs in UE, mc obviously had a more deeper connection with the 2nd ml and we barely saw the mc and ml's interaction. that's probably the reason why most people disappointed is UE's ending.
as for this manhwa, i think i can relaxed a bit more with the triangle love drama bcs hyunwoo wasn't that close with hyunee either and now we even get to see some progress in hyunwoo and chanee's relationship (bcs hyunwoo is getting braver at approaching chanee). and honestly idek why hyunee comes to like hyunwoo. as i said before, i don't think hyunwoo and hyunee are that close.

*hyunwoo* : the mc who has a crush on his classmate (chanee).
*chanee* : first ml. hyunwoo's crush and hyunee's bestfriend.
*hyunee* : second ml. chanee's bestfriend and the only person who knows hyunwoo's feelings towards chanee.
