For real. I was seeing all these other comments praising Nako which made me confused, like she is literally manipulating the whole situation only for own entertainment. Frankly, she is a terrible friend and if I were to find out someone in my circle was like her I would cut them off immediately.
Same, I literally can’t even imagine still being friends with someone who sold me out and kept something over a single date. The manga has made her manipulation as comedic but it’s so toxic and disgusting how she blackmails everyone or tries to involve herself in places she shouldn’t be in, all for the sake of herself or her entertainment
Still can’t get over that Nako kept ML’s intentions from her FRIEND over a single DATE. Manabi(?) is quiet, but her small action did more than anything Nako contributed to their relationship. Also, I can’t level the ML’s behavior as the same “trash” level as a gold digger, especially when MC is starting to genuinely get past that and only goes back to the idea when he fucks up or worries about how other women will see him if he has a gf.
