To the latest chapter I think they(the antagonist, maybe the empress) are killing the real fiancee and replacing them with witch one.. in short they are no longer the fiancee but just a mere witch/monster.
OK I'm only at ch 7 and the story seems interesting, but i found it deeply disturbing that the prince killed his fiancé just because she's a witch. She was begging for her life too?! Will I be able to read this??? Is there a legit reason for that murder?
