Well yeah there's that too. In some parts of life, guys are discriminated against. But since he's kind of an influential person maybe they'll pay attention to it.
No, not really. Celebrities are constantly being stalked and yet if there's no direct harm or insufficient evidences, the police won't bug in (my relative runs a fansite so she's seen a lot of stuff)
Just report the case man. Even if there's insufficient evidence but still police will do something. Don't try to get to the bottom of it yourself, that'll just put you in danger. Are police just for show? They have duty to protect citizens so they'll do their job. Whatever happened is enough to file a case and start investigation.
