Ok, so I'm just going to give my opinion sincerely.
I'm the type of person that don't judge ANY kind of love (except for children, bc that's sick), and incest included. Actually, we think incest is disgusting just bc we were taught so, and most of us won't fall in love with our siblings or cousins simply bc our nature won't let us (it's literally just our organism telling us that our kids will be born with more genetic diseases that it was suppose to be if we had them with someone not blood-related). So, yeah, scientifically it's pretty troublesome.
But they're not even blood-related and I really think this would pass simply as a love you'd have for a really close childhoood friend, so I don't find it at the least disgusting =3

You made great points :) initially I was exposed to a socmed community that hates people who "ship" incest and so I thought people hated the idea of fantasizing about family being lovers, which is understandable. But I realized that in this story, it's not that case at all. There's no shipping because it's canon, so I'm genuinely wondering where the anger in this comment section is directed at. Is it to the author? Do they really feel disgusted at the people themselves? The latter is kinda sad to hear but I do want to know why they'd feel that, that's why I'm asking. I'm more sad than disgusted, because of the situation for their parents.

In all honesty I don’t find incest ‘wrong’ because it’s literally the same as other forms of love just between family members like if you love someone you love someone and I find it ok, if one of my friends said that they fell inlove with a sibling/cousin I would support that

I completely agree with you! And these two had love but the parents then remarried and then put them in this sticky spot. I think non blood related relationships are fine because they are connected into family by their parents. There is no genetic tie that will cause problems and if they already felt the attraction how were they supposed to deal with that after their parents chose to get married?

That moment kakeru's mom asked kei to let her meet with his brother I had this huge feeling they were really gonna get remarried to each other. I wished it didn't end up like that, but it really did huh. I really wanted them to be a couple but not like this . If they love each other why not riht? But the problem lies in how their parent's would react. I know they'll obviously be hurt.
I'm just curious though, if they really do love each other, would people still condemn them? By people, I mean you,t he readers. If this was shipping, then of course people would be mad over an incest ship since it's not "canon" but what about in this case where they genuinely love each other. Do you guys think they shouldn't continue this? Do you think they're disgusting? Just curious.
