I feel the same way.I just want River to live happily with Heil cause they deserve it especially River cause he suffered so much
I sincerely doubt this, unless the author was that bad of a writer, there'd be more hints of River missing Khaol in some way.
It feels like the author is trying to redeem Khaol's character so he can get back with River again man, thinking abt it really pisses me off. No matter what good deeds he will do onwards, it will never justify his previous actions towards River.
