I dont really relate to him. This plan he pulled that made MC feel helpless and miserable in order to "prepare him for real world" just gives me a vibe of parents beating their children so they listen to them cause its dangerous world out there.

Especially since he didn't even invite his brother there, his dad did, so he would've left him to his fate as far as we know if their father didn't get involved.

The brother did as instructed by the father, do you not understand what the purpose of coming to that compound was? You also seem to forget the mc before he had his body taken over was a PoS drunk.
I dont remember it was his father that ordered this.
When was this mentioned? I only know he sent him to meet his brother. (+ the MC really used to be a drunk but brother still mentioned he didn't want him dead, and yet, he didn't do anything for him and to prevent his death before his father got involved)
