Shes not dumb and the plot isn't half bad. And really? The western food part? A lot of western food is greasy, and unappealing. If you think you can do a better job in a westernized setting then do it.

I don't know if it's slow baced or if she is just dumb... maybe both... but I'm not really feeling it anymore...
If anything I'll keep reading for a while cuz unlike most comics about food this one doesn't seem too biased against western food... like... most of them either present it as heavy in spices, unappetizing, greasy, even as weird... and the oriental cuisine as something almost divine...
And then... people in a ocidental setting... just falling madly in love with it... as if we don't have our own versions of those dishes...
If you're gonna write about food in a westernized setting... the least you could do is search a little about it... ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
