I also thought the same when i read that manga! Honestly changed my attitude towards other characters because of that. They did a really good job in explaining the change is his behavior in an isekai when it’s usually never explained at all
Yeah, but sadly, the MC here never acted like she was once in her 40s, only at times when it comes to japanese foods she can make (〜￣△￣)〜
I was once read a 40ish yo man reincarnated as 11 yo boy. And at one point he felt like he become more childish eventho he supposed to be 40ish. Then the God, who sent him, said it was happened because: just how the 40ish man was him, the 11 is also him.. and not only his body, both his mental and soul would also "matched" the him right now. And either way both of them is still "him" and He ask to just accept it as a part of himself..
Maybe because I had read something like that before, I never think this MC's action repulsive? Or strange? U kno about feeling, love and such.
I mean.. just like how (IF) people around us is bad, most of the time we would picked up the same bad habit, right? That why I passed the MC's behaviour as something normal because she now live her life as a teen, surrounded by teens, and unconsciously start to act like one.
Not to mention, AT THE VERY LEAST, the MC never seek others (specifically man) attention by acting meek, throwing herself into their embraces, or any other things those bitchy-teens have done. It is enough for me.
So imho, either the MC stays as a mature woman or regress back to a teenager, let's think it as a simple read and enjoy it all the same(▰˘◡˘▰)
