I don't think she knows the extent of it. Like this thing with his mom threatening her. I don't think she knows anything about that at all.
Like he hasn't told her that he was so distant to her because he was trying to protect her from his family. She just thinks that he was being a shitty friend by never reciprocating. Even after this I wouldn't be surprised if all she got from it is that he is not on good terms with his mom. But she and his mom just had tea, and she hasn't mentioned his mom being mean to her.
