Nobody cares that this has violence and rape. What people object to is having to read about a strong-willed protagonist repeatedly endure rape, tortured, humiliation and threats of gang rape for 6 volumes, only for the author to then go "actually they really do love eachother" in the final two chapters and then try and sell the audience a happy ending.
It's cheap, lazy writing and not only insulting but meaningless.

Why don't you comment this on her twitter? Commenting here won't do anything. We're not even the target audience. And I'm reading the thoughts of Japanese people about this story and they enjoy it. I like it too. She didn't just came up with the idea that they like each other. She said in the live stream that she dreamed of drawing chapter 23. She wanted it to become like that but she also wanted to stick with the darker side. We already have a confirmed happy ending and very high chances that they're ending up together. If you don't like it this is a sign to stop reading it.
It's her story, she can draw whatever she wants. You already said 50 times that you don't like it. We get it, you don't like it but it's really annoying to comment under each comment you don't agree with. You are allowed to have your opinion and so are others.

I don't comment on her twitter for the same reason that I don't care about her intentions: because it's irrelevant to what's actually on the pages in front of me. Nobody actually cares about authors intent when they are assessing the quality of a work, content is all that matters.
As for the endgame, of course, these two are going to end up together (it's a romance manga after all), the real question was how did they get there? And I'm sorry, but subjecting a character to 7 VOLUMES of rape, assault, humiliation etc., and having that repetition grate on the viewer, only to have him forget/ forgive those transgressions in 2 or 3 chapters is just nonsensical and insulting, aside from being a cliche.
The author can't inject scenarios where one love interest repeatedly and often rapes/neglects/abuses his partner for the sake of drama or escalating tension, and then still have a happily-ever-after ending where they get together. It creates such a major tonal whiplash when the audience knows one or both of those partners will be filing domestic abuse rapports within two weeks.
You can't have your cake and eat it too. You can't inject elements of violence in such a serious manner into your story, and then completely ignore the consequences of doing so on your characters or their reactions because of some idiotic unspoken rule that all BL couples MUST end up together. At least not if you were trying to convince your audience of the ending.
And THIS is the reason so many readers think Caste Heaven won't have a "happy" ending, because the author has indulged herself too much in rape fantasies and now there's no way for her to make the eventual romantic ending believable or convincing.
Of course, the author has every right to create what she wants. And everyone else also has the right to critique her work. If you don't like those opinions or think they are wrong, feel free to argue or ignore them completely.
Alos, f.y.i, this was my first comment on this manga.

Thank you so much for your comment! I don't understand why people hide behind "it's dark and psychological" and pretend this story makes bigger sense.
Karino and Azusa ending up together after all of thr abuse, violence is just poorly written, illogical and irrational ending.
Author's intentions are irrelevant, the writing should be enough by itself.
The hottest consent couples goes to Senzaki x Tatsumi ♡ They are definitely the s&m couple lols but at least both love it!! (Atsumu x Kuze too eventho Kuze was twisted at the beginning but I'm glad Atsumu got a nice character development ehe Tsumu beybiii).
This story is basically messed up but imo at least there's no rape romantization (well Azusa starts having feelings for Karino not bcoz of the rape rite/? '-' ) the backgrounds of both MCs make sense of their behaviour (not saying it was right, but it could happen) and somehow the flow is getting more interesting, i wonder how they would finally acknowledge their feelings and being honest and 'get out' from the caste (if that's even possible).
And for readers, there's a rape tag bullying tag etc if you don't like those themes then dont try reading it in the 1st place if you are going to critique over those stuff it's already the plot sensei made anw. Enjoy and expect for any development or leave it, it's that simple /sigh
