I don't think clark is meant to be happy because no one would have died if clark took alex to jail...the doctor wouldn't have died and they might had been a couple

I cackled loudly when Alex died but I wish it was more painful and drawn out. I was also holding out hope that Clack and doctor could be happy together in the end but it was a pipe dream. Hurts a little but at least Clark got his revenge. He should’ve stabbed him a few more times for good measure.
