not fully, from hat i gather he was testing her resolve as a person but at the same time questioning her dignity as a nobel. He asked how she could think her family was being spied on as a nobel of the household, those actiojns ment she didnt trust her family of nobels... so she had to backtrack. When in reality her thought were right, he didn come to spy to find the profe of them doing iligal alcohol trading. All her asumptins were Spot On. He just keepts pusshing her because he wanted to test how smart she was and how she would adjust her answers after he keept pusihng..Also he didnt expect her as a nobel to trust the servants hence the "you confessed because you tought he woull spill the beans" that was HIS asumption, and he made her feel that whas her underlining reason for sawing the serwant when in reality she sawed the servant because she dindt want him hurt or punished for something she made him do..
Also when she agred to take the beatings and pased out.. the prince was happy.. because he found a usefull tool.. i looked over the Raws..He saw her as a fat unatractive itdiot at first be what intrigues with her answers and everything she told him during the meeting was actualy everything his entire investigation department took weeks to do..

Only after having seen Fl stand up in generasl for the same right as her brothers and becautiul sister and managing to stand on equal terms as them, while protecting commoners and proving she isnt just fat and a brin by partaking in a military training and managing to pass above ppl despite her weight. Does Ml start to take an actual liking to her to the point that when his spies sned letters about her progress.. Ml begins to smile, creaping the living shit out of his subordinats that quetsion if he has lost his mind as they have never seen him smile unless its a new "toy".

What I personally understood from this chapter is that the FL trusted that her family wasn’t selling illegal alcohol, so she thought that the prince was setting them up. She entered the prince’s room by giving a bag to a servant so that he could hide it in the room. The ML obviously knew where the bad was hidden and what she was trying to do. Basically, he knew that the FL was trying to set HIM up.
The ML said that her worst quality is that she’s too arrogant and acts like she know everything and is willing to risk everything bc she thinks she knows everything. The FL trusted that everything would go according to her plan, and that the hidden alcohol would never be found. But, the ML figured everything out, so now her family is screwed.
That is why the ML is gonna punish the servant that hid something in the room, so that the FL can learn from her mistakes.
