Mania in greek means obsession

    It also comes from the Ancient Greek word “menos” which means anger and thus it also means: fury, craze, rage, etc. Of course the main meaning here would be that craze (the obsession) but it has a more destructive meaning than not and thus he’s asking to be killed by his hand.

    (Juts thought I’d add some things cause non-Greek people wind be able to understand the full meaning of the word)

    Damn now i feel like half ass educated as greek( but i never really liked ancient Greek,it was a torture for my middle school self)
