Well, as per the omega, I recall them saying that once they give birth they will die shortly after, its like written in their DNA to do so, but the ML, because of his history, I think he doesn't want any emotional attachments because he knows what happened to his birth mother, hence the plan to have the heir, eliminate the omega, and satisfy the father.
