I was researching on dragonflies because of this comic and I discovered that they are amazing and terrifying at the te same time.
About this "predicting" thing want really happens is that the dragonfly has the capability of calculate three things at a really small amount of time: the distance between it and its prey, their both velocity and the trajectory that it needs to take to intercept the prey (not just running after it, making a new route to intercept it !).
Not even sharks(50% of preys successful captured) and lions (25% of preys successful captured) cannot do this (and look fo the size of their brains compared to the dragonfly...).
