In my opinion I think it's good that Emel became the Marquis so she could deserve Estelle, yes yes I know Estelle's family would accept Emel even as a knight but do you think the public would agree to that? There are a lot of eyes in the Castiello family especially since Estelle doesn't have red eyes ( oh but I know that Estelle is part of the Castiello family pink is in the family of red so yeah)
The only downside to what Emel did was he NEVER EVER said a word to Estelle, he was cold to her when they were parting ways, Emel parted ways with Estelle in the MOST HORRIBLE WAY EVER IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE OF MANGA/HWA/HUA
