I think the only reason she’s acting the way she is, is because she’s afraid that all her efforts from driving him away from being corrupt like in the original timeline will disappear once she gives into the things he used to do.

Plus I also want to add that tita wont stop liking her due to these reasons. It's obvious that he cares deeply for the ice witch and her saying no a few times inst enough for him to hate her guts. It just seems like tita is in his rebellious phase.
He obviously wants to become the butler so he can stay by her side and I feel like he wants to learn how to use a sword to defend her as well (typical young boy must become strong defend mum/sister/lover bullshit). I don't think he'd ever hate her for those reasons but she shouldn't push him away cuz he might become even more obsessive with it from how things are going... teens are so hard to deal with stg
What does she want? She doesn’t want him to be a butler, and now she doesn’t want him to practice swordsmanship?? Isn’t that what he needs when he becomes the successor? I agreed with her when he said he wanted to be a butler. Like if he became a butler who would be the next head? But now she’s becoming annoying, like sis one or the other. I get you see him as a son, but you cannot let your feelings interfere with something very important.
At this rate he’s going to stop liking her. Especially with his “inner thoughts” talking to him. She’s so blind that she can’t see she’s going down the same path the original duchess was going. He shouldn’t be a butler, but it’s very important that he learns swordsmanship.
