All of them had their fair share of problems tbh. I read the raws ahead so I got to see why MC acted that way to her son. When she delivered the baby, it was a chaotic time for their family. A lot of bad things happened during her pregnancy. Her father died causing her to have quite unstable emotions, I think Harsen's father died as well at that time too. She was already feeling sentimental since she was pregnant and realized that she would have to stop going to parties for a while (she was portrayed as a naturally social kid when young). And when she was even pregnant, she saw Harsen kill(? not sure but there were lots of blood) the guy who was harassing her in front of her and that made her even more uncomfortable and distraught. When she delivered, Harsen was always so busy since he just succeeded his father so he had no time for her. It's really sad, since she developed postpartum depression after her delivery and had bad thoughts on their child. She tried to seek out to Harsen, but as I said, he's really busy after succession. So that's why, she acted the way she did. Both of them are at fault why Vicente had experienced such childhood. Then again, the circumstances they were in at that time were not at all pleasant too. Such cruel reality.
