He has expressed his distrust openly. This doesn’t follow the trope of “oh I’m so soft for her I’m not going to kill her even if she finds out my secret” type shit.

He killed Lari because she was accused of “living too spoiled” and for something that her father did but she didn’t in her past life :)

Lol you didn’t read spoilers. I thought you’d get the gist that I had read some. You really think that’s all there is to it? Well, you’re partially wrong. This story is only told from ignorant Larriet’s point of view. From her point of view, her innocent family was killed. But her family was not innocent. And because of what her family did back then, it’s obvious that she’d be executed along with them. That’s how it was back then. Especially since the crime was so large, there would definitely be no exceptions. “Something her father did” yep, certainly. He is the reason the whole family was executed. Lupert may have ordered it, but it was a situation where he had no choice to, even if she was innocent.

Lmao you think I didn’t read spoilers or something. And isn’t it still count as killing innocent people? Larriet still did nothing wrong in the end. It was her OTHER family members. You are not getting my point at all y’know

Yes, but for the crime her family committed, as I already stated, the whole entire family would be executed. I do understand what you’re trying to say, but her innocence is irrelevant to the time and place this story takes place. And again, as I said before, that is how it was in medieval times, and nobility, with an emperor ruling, with such laws... If you read stories revolving around aristocracy, you can’t have a modern mindset. Larriet was innocent, but it can’t be helped that she was executed. Treason was always extended to the other family members, even if it’s unfair.

I’m basically just saying, that when a family member committed treason, planning a rebellion, in medieval times, regardless of if the others are innocent or not, they will all end up executed. It’s unfair, but it cannot be helped.
