What do you mean really dumb? They havent seen each other for 6 months, not to mention Asami was in a coma for a month. So lets say Sudo had his face re-done and if his eyes, voice and hair were already pretty much the same. Then its normal Asami wouldnt recognize. Being in love doesnt give you superpowers. If the appearances fits and Asami has no doubts, then he wont look for differences.

We don't know anything about his voice and to change a voice is hard.
Then he was taller than Akihito. And changing the length of a leg takes months (i have that on good authority). There would be scars and tissue healing and they would have had to place each of Akihitos moles and freckles and scars on his body.

And something you can't change is a person's smell.
I'm not saying it is impossible that this will be shoved in our direction and also I am not an AxA shipper so i would lmao if it turned out that Asami mistook anybody else for Akihito. It would definitely turn MANY fans against sensei and therefore I can not imagine this happening. There is some kind of yaoi-law that the seme can only fuck his main uke, while the uke can fuck around with anyone.. or rather can be used by anybody.

At from the realistic point of view it is really irrational that you mistake a person you have been living with and fucked for mooooooonths for anybody else if you are not drugged and off your senses. If Asami mistook him in fact, then I just hope that sensei gives us the explanation that he has been drugged or something.

They have been living together for months and they were separated for 6 months. And you are talking about moles and freckles..... As i said, living together doesnt give superpowers lmao. As far as we know Asami doeent have a legendary memory to remember all the details of one's body and he is not looking for differences either. Idk how big the height difference is, but if its small then its easily unmoticable after 6 months.

First of all we don't know anything about the timing. They might have had sex for half an hour or 6 minutes or 2. If drawn panels are any indication for this, then they never had sex for more than 20 seconds ever.

Secondly height differences in the manga are veeeery much exaggerated. There is 4cm between Feilong and Akihito and it looks like 20cm. Sudou is much taller than Akihito when both are compared to Asami.

So: No one is speaking of superpowers. What I am speaking of if that if you are already thinking this might be a trap, than you might realize that the person who is trying to act like your OH SO BELOVED ONE is too tall, too broad, has different eyes (and Asami went on about Akihito's eyes A LOT), a different voice and smells differently - all of that he saw in broad daylight for a long time before they made it to the hotel room AND in the room long before they got to the smut bit.

I am NOT saying that sensei will not do this. But then she better had a very good idea that does not sound like Asami was just so blueballed that he decided to just stick his dick into the first obvious honeytrap thrown his way.

And even if that is the case, i would not care but laugh for hours for this yaoi-law-betrayal and sensei's guts to do so even though it will get maaaany of her fans really angry.

I will just still think that it is very unlikely that you mistake a person you have claimed to be in love with and even to instinctively protect when waking up drugged in a helicopter for anybody else...

As you said yourself, the heights in the mangas arent real representation. If feilong is 4cm taller than akihito, and if Soudo is smaller than Feilong, then he cant be much taller than Akihito. And same goes for the build, during Mikhail x Feilong sex scene, Feilong doesnt seem that much bulky either.

And about the time frame. Well i might have to re-read but aki pulled out the knife right after going on top of Asami. Meaning they didnt start anal. And it felt like they were in a rush and didn't do too much preparation. So 2minutes seems legit to me.

I do think that the voice, the eyes, the hair color and probably the dick would be the deal breaker in these situations. But it's possible the author decides that these were all similar to Aki to begin with. The smell is not a thing.....do you really think people can go abroad for 6 months and recognize their lovers with smell? I'm sorry but thats not a thing. You might recognize a smell when you are back but you won't notice a change in theit body odor if there was.

Also, the "rule" you mentionned is not a thing. The reason why the ukes are the ones having sex with other people (with or without consent) is because 1. The authors have some kind of rape fetish, so they send rapists to the uke every now and then. 2. The authors wants to add drama so they send rapists towards the uke / the MC. Or 3. The uke is the MC so he is the one whos gonna cheat on the seme or sleep with other men before becoming officials because he is the main character aka the center of the story.

It's not a rule, it's just that most stories focus on ukes and his troubles.

But I do agree it makes more sense Aki was brainwashed. But what makes less sense is how is he gonna go back to normal??? Unless he faked being brainwashed this would take a shit ton of chapters and i dont understand why the author would pull such a big plot when she does 1 chapter every 6 months. Thats why the Sudo idea seems like a stronh possibility as well, which would not really work unless he was similar to Aki to begin with.
