Lol you're describing still all things that she's done for him... even when they "spend time together" she's doing stuff for him... what has she done for her? on the contrary she's feeling trapped by him and is constantly trying to escape his palace. Even if he really has feelings they're all one sided. She's supposed to fall for him only because he's the prince.
She only feels that way because she thinks if he finds out who she is he will kill her, while in fact he wishs to marry her as the princess of her fallen country. Plus, she was called a saint in her country even before she had her powers, her powers were a gift because her dream has always been to help as many people as she could.
That's right. She is having dreams recently after she becomes a Maid. But when she was a princess she didn't have that dream and she was also neglected cuz she is born from the king and maiden right. Even though she was neglected she was so kind to the commoners and helped them so much that she was called a saint.
I see a lot of people criticising this saying that the Prince only likes Marie because of her powers. I don’t think that’s the case.
I think the Prince NOTICES Marie because of her powers; how else would a Crowned Prince take notice or care about a low ranking palace maid who isn’t even working in the same palace as him? But I think he has fallen for her because of her own personality. Think back to when she first met him without the mask when she was working in the garden. She wanted to do something nice for him and baked him biscuits (she may not have known HOW to bake, but it’s the thought that touches peoples hearts).
Then she volunteered to take Oscars punishment. Yes, she used her powers to clue together the crime, but it was her heart that made her take his place, not knowing if she’d be beaten or imprisoned. Again, it’s her heartfelt sincerity that touches the heart.
After she becomes his maid they spend a lot of time together, and I can only assume they get to know each other. This wouldn’t have been possible without those powers, but I still don’t believe that the Prince ONLY likes her because she’s useful. It’s because she’s useful that he’s been able to spend more time with her and get to know her as a person.
