Sometimes, it’s the people that have everything that are corrupted. There cannot be anything that doesn’t go their way, they only care about themselves. In this case, the mf emperor benefits from the mc not being the real daughter. He doesn’t care that he’s defaming an innocent man or sending a young child off to an abusive man, he wants everything to go his way and doesn’t give a damn about others. I hope the duke puts this sh*thead in his place.
