Let’s get a few thinks straight:
1. Don’t assume every heterosexual person just believes there are no problems when a lgbtqia member comes out. There are many that understand that.
2. Don’t assume the all lgbtqia members are gonna relate to that story, even being gay doesn’t insure that you have trauma or were scared to come out.
3. That’s a stupid mindset to have. Even if a person is different or likes the norm, they are still a person who deserves to have the point heard.
4. Just because your going through it, you feel like only you and others who are going through if can understand, but did you not think this can happen to straight people too. They can have the same exact experience but because they are straight their trauma doesn’t matter? This story focused two boys scared to love each other of fear of losing each other. This was not focused on the stigma that gay love is disgusting, thought it did include it that wasn’t the topic.
5. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but that’s just rude. You can choose to struggle alone but don’t bring others into your issues. Whatever you choose to do is your choice. Just cause people complain about the plot or how they feel like things should have been handled doesn’t mean you have the right to reject their opinions.
6. Your mindset is fucking disgusting! Keep you bias to yourself! Grow up!

5. A (cis) hetero has no place commenting on this story or bashing the story. and people can have their own opinions, and therefore i also have mine, but hets literally have no place in complaining about this bc they’ll never have to go through this.

and also let’s be clear: in talking about the mlm plot and NOT any other trauma. i empathize with that, as i also have experiences with that. i’m talking purely about the relationship, but not the trauma, which is why this was the story it was in a way. hets CAN empathize or Sympathize with the story, but about the mlm, they cannot.
now that i’m thinking about it, you ARE talking about fearing to like someone because of trauma, right? because if that’s the case my point still stands. you can sympathize or empathize with the trauma, but you can’t speak on the actual story it’s self about the mlm characters. :) i’m not about to invalidate someone when i’ve literally been touched sexually and inappropriately by both genders, so i know what it can feel like, but i’m not going to let hets, especially hets who don’t understand the real meaning of the story bash it for what it isn’t.
You missed what I’m saying. I’m saying you can’t classify a whole group for a selective fews actions. I also has a similar experience to the story. are you a hetero ? if so then stfu about the plot. coming out or realizing that liking the same gender is okay can be hard, especially for the environment people grew up in. do u think that every gay person is just like ‘oh i’m gay, time to be myself’ or not ? especially bc mc had trauma being touched by an older guy, the ML obvi didn’t want to hurt him and thought what he was feeling was bad, it’s completely realistic in the sense of not wanting to come out, or leaving close friends behind because you’re scared of what they may think. heck, i’m in this predicament myself. if you are a het, then stfu, this is a story you won’t be able to truly understand.
