i like it though, it’s funny and how she doesn’t seems to give an ounce of shit for the stupid plot is amazing ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I don't know if it's true, but apparently, in her original life, she was starved. And that might be why she's so defensive and obsessive when it comes to her food. And the next part is just my speculation, but perhaps she was naive and kind in her original life and that lead to her death, which is why she now only cares for herself and living lavishly.
But I agree with you, it's annoying that there is no context to her current behaviour. Some flashbacks, or extra chapters would have been great.

I’ve read the novel up to chapter 1100. I don’t rlly know her past yet, just a lot of foreshadowing. But I’m pretty sure the main reason she eats so much is because it gives her power. Before a huge fight, she always eats a lot. In some parts she indirectly implies she’ll run out of energy and die if she doesn’t eat food yet use all that power
Mmm I guess so it makes kind of sense.
I'm just gonna voice my opinion out there; I don't like how eating and being cunning is her only personality trait. Like, she tried to eat the egg, she wanted to eat the snake, what more could she want to eat? Like I wish the author gave her more depth you know? Like, I know this series isn't a supposed focus on her as a character and all but you still gotta give her some backstory so that people to a have some kind of side with her. The author can make it a side story like what they did to 'cheating men must die' where it's a seperate manhua or they could just sprinkle in unrelated chapters that tell her story every once in a while. Really this is just my opinion so feel free to disagree
