Khoal did this to himself and he can undo it. Kaveri deserves all the empathy, he exists at the whim of Khoal. He is suffering so much, I wish River would help him.
khaol deserves no sympathy. everything he did was selfish, destroying person after person as if they're some dispensable tool so he could being back his lover who didnt even WANT to be brought back. he manipulated rivers emotions and literally murdered him and now only regrets his decision bc he isn't making kaveri happy so he wants river back after sacrificing him.
I think it's bc no matter what choice he makes, it's always going to hurt someone and he never choose to be in all that situation, he was condemned to this circle of pain

I don't know why I feel sorry for khoal. Though he do all those horrible things to River and hurt many heart who read this I just can't seem to decide if I will root for Heil or pray that khoal will be given a second chance .. it is just my honest feeling .please no hate(づ￣ ³￣)づ
