1: the uke obviously wouldn’t return the feelings when’s hes been in love with his best friend for ages
2: they literally AGREED that the seme could have one sided feelings, it’s the PLOT, the seme said he would support the uke going for someone other than him

The seme is still a high schooler. So he's still a child. + It was his first love.
The seme is very persistent. Sure he agreed to suffer like that. But being a responsible adult, you wouldn't agree to sleep with him in those conditions.
Even the uke knows what he's doing is no good, when he's asking him if it is ok to take advantage of his feelings. Because that's what's his doing. He's only thinking about his own ass. He doesn't even care to set him free. Just try to imagine the sadness of the seme there.
I won't even comment on the fact that the uke is so adamant on liking a married straight man. He chose himself to make himself suffer like that.
He should know better than anyone how it feels to be in an unrequited love. And it's so many more painful to have the person around. I can't even imagine how it'd feel to be able to have sex with that person, but that person wouldn't even look at you. Why would the seme have to go over such an experience.
Since this manga isn't very "deep", and they'll eventually end up together, you wouldn't think of that as important... but it is...
Just try thinking if the uke never came to like the seme, and you'll have your answer. ^^
I so much hate the uke. The end wasn't satisfactory for me at all.
The uke was so heartless towards the seme. He was an adult, he shouldn't have accepted to sleep with his student. At that time, he still believed he could throw him away whenever.
The seme was so cute. He deserves so much better.
