They met one time and danced at an event. He couldn't make it to the second event. And then he proposed and she accepted. Maybe he fell in love at first sight ? But that's just him. I guess he never considered her side of things.
I understand that but what I mean is was there any reason she HAD to say that at all? That’s what I mean by insensitive.

Asking if she was dissatisfied or skeptical of political marriages when they were in one? What about it? Sure he could’ve consulted her about their son’s marriage but for so long she had no interest in her own child until going back in time. It makes sense what he said to her.
