Honestly. I enjoy all this karma-will-get-you plot line but I do find it a bit unrealistic that there is not a single principled person in this story other than the hero (in the past ofc), like honestly, not a single person was actually sincere to this dude who, to all accounts, did everything he could to save the world simply or of his own altruism? I just need one person to be decent (and not dead), just one, and I can vicariously enjoy this without feeling like they are taking the plot gimmick too far.
Yeah, his sister and the young soldiers so far, but as you say, they are dead. I just want 1 person who is not a total piece of human garbage and it's still alive. Hell, even the goddess is a b*tch.
