Seriously, if there's no official English translation then the author isn't gaining or losing anything as we are not her Market to begin with. I myself am a comic artist so coming from my point of view oh, this doesn't make any sort of business sense. What you really should be going after the illegal Koreans as that is actually her Market. We all know that many Comics get taken off the internet once it's officially licensed in English and I've purchased plenty of stories.
Actually, translation are quite a big promotion - I’m still amazed that some authors don’t under that much, but many many legal translations wouldn’t exist if not for fan works (i suppose the entire yaoi segment is proof enough)

Yeah, if done legally. What is the use of promotion if that can't bring money? For example, Solo Leveling, that manhwa got 10M+ views alone on mangadex (which I'm pretty sure mangago stole the already illegal translation from there too lol), imagine if mangadex were an actually legal translation, how much money would that 10M+ views turn to?

You just take a picture of the page and rub your finger over the text. I haven’t done it for this manhwa yet but I use it a lot for recipe and food instructions and it works fine to my experience.

Nobody is forcing you to neglect your own health, which is your responsibility to take care of. You have it available for free for the Korean readers, but foreigners can’t do the same? Even if there is some sort of paywall, there are also sites for Korean readers to also read free of charge? So why not call them out as well? I know if author had all that time to look for foreign translations they also have the time to look for the Korean sites that are publishing their work.
