yo i avoided reading this for so long bc so many comments said the fl was unbearable
BUT I FUCKING LOVE HER? LIKE FROM THE FIRST CHAPTER she's UTTERLY hilarious and brutally persistent. sure she whines, but tbh in her situation and with her background it'd be weirder if she didn't. also it's way more interesting with a personality like hers that's antagonizing, and like we rarely see fls who are both purposefully annoying, but also strong willed. besides, her strengths are independent of how much she has to rely on the ml for a certain moment, and i think that[s pretty cool too.
also i feel like we rarely see a manga where the fl's strengths are revealed later into the plot, with her more "unlikeable" traits being the only ones we know at first (not like i thought she was ever unlikeable, but i think lots of ppl did). like usually they give away hints to their insecurities/backgrounds since the beginning to try and make their personality more "forgiveable" or "understandable" (even though i think being utterly unapologetic and not being obliged to feel bad about her personality is a charm of hers that i LOVE), while with her, they completely hid any of her insecurities/past from her pov, and only gave us hints recently or through the ml's recollections.
anyways. she's funny, and since im a simple person i love funny, so by transitive property i love her
