Yep, the uke's mindset is totally weird, but then again there's nothing "normal" in the way a clinically depressed person really thinks... I think what the story wants us to see is that the uke has real, clinical depression, so much so that receiving even the brief, cheap immitation of "love" from his future killer is actually preferable over the empty, heavy feelings he's been having in his every day life. It's like he's subtly "thanking" the seme for briefly "interrupting his misery"... and only a clinically depressed person would react that way... This kid needs therapy ASAP.
Really not stupid when the uke has never been showed love before and grabs onto the first thing that shows affection. It's been shown he has very serious mental illnesses. So please keep that in mind, it's not good to call him stupid like that lol
Thdi us what should be said. The uke is basically depressed and whatever kind off affection that comes into his affection less unhappy life, he will grab on to it to relieve himself. Even if they know the affection they are receiving now will in the future be the cause if their misery they will look at the present only. The future is dark and gloomy for them so they won't think ahead.
The uke requires a lot of therapy and change of environment. The past we see in few of the scenes and when the uke said he doesn't deserve happiness to the seme when he was asked what wish he has is a proof that uke is depressed and doesn't value himself.
I really hope the story will showcase some proper ways in which the uke will get help to improve his mental health rather than the seme's love changes the uke's mental health.
Sorry for being insensitive, I can empathise with the uke even though I feel hes stupid.
Also, I wouldnt count on that last hope considering what huge dickhead the seme is lol,I feel like this story is going downhill like many of its predecessors in the same vein,for some reason theres so much sex and barely enough actual plot...
