Actually now that I think about it that scene is important. Though right now Hue is an ass and all that later when lucia dose become pregs he doesn't question that it's his baby but instead immediately knows that dick face doctor is lying. It shows Hue's progress. (Though the initial scene still pissed me off)
The skipped out the part where he said “I wouldn’t ever get children so even if you get pregnant it’s not mine” and Lucia goes ballistic because he thought she would cheat ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Or something along those lines, it’s been years since I last read the novel lol.
