i can honestly understand why she’s so afraid like imagine growing up on an environment where you were tormented by everyone and treated with no respect, even by your own father
that damages a persons mentality a lot and i would 100% be reluctant to accept affection or believe that it’s real after all that pain
she just started to get a bit used to it but riftan (i forgot how to spell his name lol) left which made her kinda spiral back but it’s understandable imo
