The thing s if not for harsen she would have to marry the Damonshire guy who was overly obsessed with her and always sounded like she was his property. So normally wen the girl reaches her age of marriage she ll be married to some guy for political reasons mostly , at first wen she got proposal from harsen she thought that he genuinely liked her but then that Damon shire guy says harsen is using her to escape the marriage with the princess . Hence she thinks that she was his best choice and for her he was her best choice as in politically... and that misunderstanding makes things a lil bit harder for there marriage to be built on trust. And also the fact he dint come for her coming of age ceremony and dint even send her letter of apology but was in the princess coming of age was another crack in the whole trusting thing#－.－)

Yup, and she was happy to think it’d be a love based marriage but the freaking damonshire dude, out of jealousy ruined what she believe would be start of love for her. I believe they genuinely liked one another, but harsen, man of few words, never communicates much and I think there’s something about his mom that makes him treat his wife as is. And I think she used the words “best choice” as a assurance mechanism for her not to get her heart broken.
I swear that damn damonshire!!! Yeppp they looked like the genuinely liked each other !! She coped up with Wat that shire guy says by saying “best choice” and harsen I get it he s like calm man of few words and all but come on u could have written to her an apology for attending her coming of age or even told her something wen he gave her his coat. I see all the comments bashing harsen but from the spoilers it seems that he truly loved her and did everything he could to give her everything to stay by his side. His lack of communication clearly didn't help with relationship building. But other than that....why did they not have a good relationship? Did she not like him at all? Why does she keep calling him the best choice? At this point does she have no feelings for him at all? I'm getting confused from reading the spoilers and comments vs what i feel like is going on in the Webtoons.
