Yes. But this is a fantasy storyline and she's going to go on a journey to stop it anyway (as we've seen from the synopsis) so we don't really know how big they are on about sexism and such.
And again, that's why I said the last part. It was understandable that she'd be disoriented and confused, so i don't fault her for it, but i still wish she'd change for the better. I don't much care for her at the moment. I am hoping that will change.

You know, in their defense, id want her out too.
From the two chapters I've seen so far, she doesn't seem the type to be overly concerned nor involved in the kingdoms political affairs.
If i was a tired bureaucrat tired of finally finishing all the preparations for a pampered princess's birthday, only to have all your efforts go to waste and have to think of a new measure to save the kingdom, then i probably wouldn't have much patience either.
Like it or not, more than an actual ruler, she is probably more a symbol to her people.
If she acts like everything Is ok, then the kingdom will think they've got their act together. In this case and atm,her appearance is her most useful asset. She doesn't seem able to keep up with the ministers, so it's understandable they'd want to prepare he for the one thing she Can do.
Then again, maybe she actually is good at that stuff. Maybe she's just in shock and can't think because she's so heartbroken. But if so, i don't think they would have reacted that way so fast.
Btw- before any of you come running at me to defend her, I'm not faulting her.
She lives in that kind of environment, it's understandable she's detached from other struho, and i do genuinely believe that she will be pretty cool in the future, but at the moment, she still has a lot of growing up to do
That is all
