I 100% agree you never know what is going to happen and that is completely unacceptable. I had a cousin who did this a couple of times and the last time was with a girlfriend who’d just broken up with him even though she loved him because of his drug use. He threatened to kill himself if she didn’t come back and she refused to give in and that night he ended up accidentally having a lethal reaction from a mix of ahochol and fentanyl in his system (they do believe it was an accident) skipping out on some other tragic aspects of the story the girlfriend ended up showing up at his house in utterly hysterical believing she’d let him die and I’ve never seen anyone so broken. She ended up have to take a break from college and be admitted to a mental hospital. Also, like I said she want the only one effected by his threats to end himself, but I won’t go through everything just the one to make my point. Long story short because of my own experience this has suddenly really made me dislike the FL. I’ll probably read the next chapter to see if she takes it back or something, but I might end up dropping this entirely

I love her but she shouldn't threaten her father with suicide, especially since he genuinely loves and and wants the best for her. Go get your mans in a healthy way sis
