And I mean it was that or developing a strong unhealthy love for her child. Which in the end would not have ended well bc she’d have spoiled him rotten and only looked at him as the only person to love so yeah

At the age of 19 and going through all that plus becoming a mother and all when you are that emotionally unstable and no one to lean on

She didn’t hate her baby because he was “robbing her of her time with her friends”
She hated him because everything bad that had happened, everything she could do and she couldn’t, everything in this fricking chapter was after she got pregnant. She was alone, her husband never said he loved her (and she was accustomed to her family next to her so she needed the love), she was 19!, her father died, her mother couldn’t stay with her, her father in law died, she couldn’t go to her family house or mourn her father or the other father because she had to take over a household in her FIRST PREGNANCY and her husband is at war and her dipsht of an uncle tells her he could not possibly come back what’s wrong with these people?!
Of course after all that stress she’d want to go and enjoy her life the way it was before. It’s so much pain. And nobody was consoling her
