Theres nothing wrong with being infertile. A woman who doesn't get her period is healthy and not sick. She's a complete and healthy woman with or without being fertile. It sounds like you're saying an infertile woman makes them incomplete.

If a woman can't have a child it's a huge problem at the time. And also their information about female's health weren't that advanced yet. Infertile woman is fine, but not woman not having a period without any reason. That's why he asked her if she's hiding anything or if she really need to get treated. As far as I know, even in this day and time, girls who can't have their period without a reason might have a very chronic disease, like cancer.
It's not his fault or her fault. It's their miscommunication. Both of them loved each other without wanting the others to know or without knowing the others feeling. One wants for the best for the other, and the other is thinking about what if the worst come upon her.

Didn't mean that, just meant hes making it unclear. He was like " I didn't know you really wanted a child" but then later on say no. I think he needs to sit down and think before coming to talk to her because whether we like it or not, she's the most hurt. Right now with everything he still doesn't know her. She just does what he says and he's become so comfortable with that. She's almost like a pet to him and I want him to change that by actually listening to what she says rather that always trying to tell her what ro do when he clearly is confused to. Trying to walk away and you pull her to your lap, holding her by her two shoulders and sternly looking at her isnt the way to talk to a woman who is guarded from previous abuse. As I said, the problem arose bcs they cannot communicate with each other well yet, they're not yet ready. But, the maid and the butler, as much as they care and love their miss, is kind of the trouble maker for the current fight. Say they didn't say anything the won't fight, but, they won't start to communicate either, which may cause bigger problem in the future. Both the duke and Vivian is still guarded about their own personal problem which none other knows, which is why it's even harded for them to understand each other
