I know what you mean, even if it was a misunderstanding or whatever, the seme acted quite harshly, especially when he knew the reason of why the uke was craving for love and was lonely. I didn’t dislike the story but as you said, this part could’ve been done differently.
To me it seems the seme reacted that way because he was compared to the gross married men who showed up to use the kids body and leave. It would be frustrating to be compared to that and to think that you are seen that way when you are trying to go as far as telling your family you have someone you like and that you won’t do matchmaking. Yes he was a bit harsh. But I also understand his frustration a bit.
That's a fair point, but Gou (seme) was calling Akihito (uke) a spoilt child even before the 'like other men' comment was made.
Ya that’s kinda why I didn’t like it ☹I was like the uke is just trying to show affection and is still young compared to the seme so I thought it isn’t fair to call him that when he’s much older. Big I agree with everyone’s points and opinions and can kinda see both sides of it
I really love this manga and think the characters are great and the plots pretty good but it’s just pisses me off how much the seme kinda is an asshole in some part for ME anyways. Like he literally called the uke a spoiled brat and avoided him because the uke felt not unloved and ignored and just wanted to show affection yet calls him spoiled brat for that and continues to keep his distance. I don’t like that the plot keeps them the same in that sense. I know the uke himself is distant but has a reason and is pretty straightforward when he needs to be a did. I hate being mean about mangas cuz Ik some others really enjoy it and I hate seeing that on mangas I like but idk if that one thing was changed I would have loved this so much more. Not like I hate it though
