I agree. The fake family is most likely responsible for the accident they lost the dad and the mc lost his parents and either their was no family to take him in or they didn’t care. And because of the memory loss they decided to pretend to be his family so they could get out of something all the while they are just abusing him.

I have a theory that the accident was caused by the black haired dude's parents and they paid those so called family so they can take fainter boy away(I'm really bad at remembering names lol)
